Many data protection laws and regulations provide the right of deletion, or the right of erasure. Generally, Norton and LifeLock will delete your account and related personal data upon request, regardless of where you reside, as long as there is no conflicting obligation that prevents us from acting on the request.
Deletion requests may be refused for a variety of reasons or a combination of reasons. The most common reasons include:
You still have an active subscription
You purchased your subscription from a third-party company, and it is still active
You have an active support case in progress
You have an identity restoration case in progress
Your personal data is under a legal hold which obligates Norton to retain it
The deletion process is permanent and irreversible. You can create a new account, but it will not have the data from the account that was deleted.
You can delete your account yourself by following these instructions:

Click on the Privacy Options tab.
Click the Delete My Data button.

Check your email for a verification code. Copy the code and paste it into the line displayed, then click Confirm.
At this point, our systems immediately begin deleting your personal data. Most personal information is deleted within minutes, and all of it is deleted within 30 days.
Click Close.
You may also contact our support team to request data deletion. If you cannot get your information removed through the Privacy Options tab or Support, you may submit a request for more information by visiting our Privacy Center and selecting Data Subject Requests. There you may complete a form to exercise your rights as a data subject.
