Error: "You are not connected to the Internet" appears on Norton AntiTrack app

Applicable for: Android;Mac;Windows

This error may occur when Norton AntiTrack is not connected to the Internet. Make sure your device is connected to the Internet. If the issue persists, click Retry displayed on the screen. If the issue is still not resolved, depending on your operating system, select one of the following to fix this issue.

Windows or Mac

Exit and restart Norton AntiTrack

  1. On your Norton AntiTrack app, click the Close icon on the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Restart your computer.

  3. Restart Norton AntiTrack.

If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall Norton AntiTrack on your device.

Uninstall Norton AntiTrack

  1. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

  2. In the Run dialog box, type in the following text, and then press Enter:

    appwiz.cpl

  3. In the list of currently installed programs, click Norton AntiTrack, and then click Uninstall or Change.

  4. Click Yes to confirm.

  5. When the uninstall finishes, exit all programs and restart the computer.

Reinstall Norton AntiTrack app

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. Type in your email address and password for Norton, and click Sign In.

  3. In the My Norton page, under Norton AntiTrack, click Download.

  4. In the Get Started window, copy the Activation Key that is provided as you need to enter it during the activation process.

  5. Click Agree and Download.

    Click the License and Services Agreement link and read the agreement before you download and install Norton.

  6. Press Ctrl + J key, to open the Downloads window in your browser, and double-click the file that you downloaded.

  7. If the User Account Control window appears, click Continue.

    Follow the on-screen instructions to install the app.

Android

Restart your Android device. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall Norton AntiTrack app on your device.

Follow the steps to uninstall and reinstall Norton AntiTrack app.

  1. Open Google Play Store app.

  2. At the top-right corner of the screen, tap the Profile icon.

  3. In the screen that appears, tap Manage apps & device.

  4. In the Manage apps & device screen, tap Manage.

  5. Tap the name of the app that you want to uninstall.

  6. Tap Uninstall.

  7. Reinstall Norton AntiTrack.
