You receive activation or subscription alerts when:
Your subscription expires
Your subscription is canceled
Your subscription is active, but the app has not picked up the updated status.
You are signed in with the wrong Norton account on your device.
Your subscription may have been suspended due to excessive VPN usage.
In the alert, click Show me my options from the drop-down list, and then click OK.
In the Subscription window, click Contact my service provider to resolve the issue by contacting your service provider.
If you plan to purchase a new subscription, click Help me stay protected (Recommended).
Follow the on-screen instructions.
You discontinue the subscription with your service provider - You get Norton Device Security as a subscription from your service provider. So, your subscription gets canceled if you discontinue the subscription with your service provider. You cannot access any of the product features, and your device is vulnerable to viruses and risks.
Your service provider cancels your subscription - Your service provider may cancel your subscription due to billing or other issues. Your subscription should automatically regain once these issues are resolved.
You transfer the license to another device (single seat) - If you transfer a license, the device from which the license is removed is no longer protected.
In the alert, click Show me my options from the drop-down list, and then click OK.
In the Subscription window, click Help me stay protected (Recommended) to purchase a new subscription.
If you have purchased another subscription, click Reactivate the subscription - I've resolved the issue.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
If you do not want to renew your subscription, you can uninstall the Norton security product from your device. For more information, read Uninstall your Norton device security product on Windows. However, it is recommended that you renew your subscription and stay protected.

If your subscription is clearly expired, this is why you’re getting repeated alerts. Renewing or purchasing a new subscription will stop these alerts.
If your Norton account shows an active subscription, but your app still says it has expired, you might be signed in with a different email address on the device than the one that owns the subscription.

After you sign in with the right account, give it a few minutes and check if the expired alerts stop.
If you purchased a new Norton product from a retail store or a third‑party website instead of renewing from the in‑product or renewal notice, the days from your old subscription will not be added to the new one. The old subscription can still expire and trigger alerts on devices that are using it.

Once all your devices use the new active subscription, you should stop seeing expired alerts from the old subscription.
In rare cases, you may have an active subscription in your account, but the Norton app on your device suddenly reports:
