Most of our services are offered as automatically renewing subscriptions to help our customers avoid lapses in their service. With an automatically renewing subscription, you have continuous access to your service without having to worry about expiration dates. However, if you prefer to turn off Auto Renewal, use the information below to change your renewal settings on your account page.
Sign in to your Norton account.
On the My Account page, in the My Subscriptions tab, located below the subscription for which you want to cancel the renewal and the renewal charges, click Cancel Subscription Renewal or Manage Renewal.
In the Manage Renewal page, select a reason according to your scenario and click Next.
For Japan:
If your order number starts with APXXXXXXXX or NPXXXXXXXX or if you have Norton 360 Standard Plus, follow the steps above to turn off Auto Renewal for your subscription.
If your order number starts with SY, visit here to turn off Auto Renewal for your subscription. You will need your "original order number" and email address that was used when you ordered.
*Your original order number is in the email that we sent at the point of the first purchase completion.
Here are a few things you should know if you stop your subscription from automatically renewing:
Your subscription will continue through the end of your already paid subscription term, after which it will end and not automatically renew.
It typically takes a few hours from your request for the change to take effect.
Any benefits associated with automatically renewing subscriptions may end when you stop your subscription from automatically renewing.
If you have already been charged and want to request a refund, please contact Member Services & Support.
