Many Norton security products come with an additional feature called Norton Virus Protection Promise. This is available to customers who purchase their product subscription directly from Symantec, or to retail customers who sign up for the Automatic Renewal program during initial setup.
The exact features will vary by region and how you purchased, but generally the Virus Protection Promise provides easy access to virus removal services in the event you become infected by a virus on a device that is protected by an installed and active Norton product.
See Terms & Conditions for more information, click here.
These steps are for the current version of the Norton products. If you have an older version or if you do not know your product version, go to Norton Update Center.
Norton Virus Protection Promise availability is displayed under the eligible product in the Services page when you sign into Norton.

If you think your computer is infected, we recommend that you run a Full System Scan using your Norton product by following the below steps. If running a Full System Scan from your Norton product does not solve the problem, you can use Norton Power Eraser to quickly detect and solve most threats.
If you think that your computer is still infected or the infection is not removed, proceed with the below steps.
