Fix problem with Norton rating not appearing next to the search engine results

To fix this problem, run LiveUpdate until no updates are available.

Run LiveUpdate

    These steps are for the current version of Norton for Windows. If you have an older version or if you do not know your product version, go to Norton Update Center.

  1. Start Norton.

    If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

  2. In the main window, double-click Security, and then click LiveUpdate.

  3. When Norton LiveUpdate is finished, click OK.

  4. Run LiveUpdate until you see the message, "Your Norton product has the latest protection updates."

  5. Exit all programs, and restart the computer.

If you experience this problem on a Mac OS X 10.9.x or earlier, start Norton, and click LiveUpdate to install all the available updates.
