Norton rating does not appear next to the search engine results
Norton Safety ratings do not appear on third-party search engines like Google, Yahoo, or Bing search results. To get the safety ratings, you need to install the Norton Safe Search extension on Google Chrome. Norton Safe Search extension is not available on Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge browsers.
To fix this problem, run LiveUpdate until no updates are available.
Run LiveUpdate
These steps are for the current version of Norton products for Windows.

Open your Norton device security product.

On the left pane, click Security.

In the Security window, in the LiveUpdate section, click Open.

In the Norton LiveUpdate window, click Update Now/Check Now.

When Norton LiveUpdate finishes, click Done.

Run LiveUpdate until you see the message, "Your Norton product has the latest protection updates".

Exit all programs and restart the computer.
If you experience this problem on a Mac OS X 10.9.x or earlier, start Norton, and click LiveUpdate to install all the available updates.
