This problem can occur if the child disables the Norton Family plug-in or extension in the browser. As a result, the following features that require this plug-in do not work:
To fix this problem, make sure that the Norton Family plug-in or extension is enabled in the browser that your child uses.
Start Firefox.
On the top-right corner, click the Open menu icon, and click Add-ons.
On the Extensions tab, click Norton™ Family.
Click on more options icon and then enable it.
Restart Firefox.
Start Google Chrome.
On the top-right corner, click the Customize and control Google Chrome icon, and then click Settings.
In the Settings page, click Extensions.
In the Extensions page, next to Norton™ Family, move the slider to enable the extension.
If Chrome version is 70 or later, at the top-right, click Norton Family icon > This can read and change site data and then choose On all sites.
Restart Google Chrome.
Start Microsoft Edge.
On the top-right corner, click Settings and More icon and then click Extensions.
In the Installed Extensions page, next to Norton Family, move the slider to enable the extension.
At the top-right, click Norton Family icon > This can read and change site data and then choose On all sites.
Restart Microsoft Edge.
