Enable Norton Network Monitoring Filter to monitor all the network activities and block malicious websites

Due to an operating system issue, the Norton Network Monitoring Filter fails to work if you disable and re-enable the Network Filter option. The Network Filter option displays an orange status, even after enabling it on your Mac indicating that your device requires immediate attention.

To resolve this issue, remove and allow the Norton Network Filter again.

  1. Click the Apple menu icon at the top-left corner and then click System Settings.

  2. In the left sidebar, click Network, and then click Filters in the right section.

  3. In the Filters window, under the Filters & Proxies section, select your Norton product and click the minus icon Mac DFA remove at the bottom.
