Norton 360 app blocks and displays "Threat secured" alert while accessing websites on Mac

After installing your Norton 360 application, your Norton application may block and display a Threat secured alert for some of the websites that you previously visited.

If your browser displays an error "This Site can't provide a secure connection" while accessing a website, then read Error: "This Site can't provide a secure connection" appears after installing Norton 360 application on Mac.

If you believe that the website you visit is safe then you can report it to Norton. Follow the below instructions to report a false positive or a false negative to Norton through the online submission form.

  • Tell us about the situation where you believe that your Norton application is incorrectly detecting a file or website. This is also called a False Positive.

    Use the submission form (Incorrectly detected by Norton) to tell us about a situation where you believe that Norton is incorrectly detecting a file.

  • Upload a suspected infected file, an email with a suspected attachment, or a suspected website which has not been detected by a Norton product. This is also called a False Negative.

    Use the submission form (Not detected by Norton) to upload a suspected infected file which has not been detected by Norton.
