Message: "We are sorry but we cannot install your Norton product. You need to have at least 200 MB of free space..." on Mac
This error can occur if there is no enough free space on your Mac to install your Norton product.
To regain the disk space on your Mac, do the following:
Delete unwanted files

Click the desktop or the Finder icon in the Dock to be in the Finder.

On the menu bar, click Go > Downloads.

Select and drag the old and unwanted downloads and installer files with.dmg or .pkg extensions to Trash.
You can also delete the movies, TV shows, music, and pictures that take up large storage space.
Uninstall unwanted applications

Exit all programs.
-
Click the desktop or the Finder icon in the Dock to be in the Finder.

On the menu bar, click Go > Applications.

Drag the selected program you want to uninstall to the Trash icon.

If you see a prompt for administrator password, type your admin password and click OK to confirm.
Empty the Trash

In the Dock, click the Trash icon.
-
From the Finder menu, select Empty Trash.
Clear user and system cache
-
Click the desktop or the Finder icon in the Dock to be in the Finder.

On the menu bar, click Go > Go to Folder.
-
Type in the following:
~/Library/Caches
-
Delete the files and folders that take up the most space.
-
On the menu bar, click Go > Go to Folder.
/Library/Caches
-
Delete the files or folders that take up the most space.
Clear Safari Cache
-
Start Safari.
-
From the menu bar, click Safari > Preferences.
-
On the Privacy tab, click Remove All Website Data.

Click Remove Now to confirm.
