Why is the default home page of my browser displaying Norton Home Page?
The default home page and new tabs of your browser has changed as you have agreed to set the Norton Home Page as your default home page. When you install Norton, you are prompted to add the Norton extensions to your web browser. In addition, you are prompted to set Norton Home Page as the default home page of your browser.
Norton Home Page enhances your web search experience. It uses the Norton Safe Search feature to generate the search results. When you search the Internet using Norton Safe Search, it generates the search results powered by Ask.com. Norton Safe Search provides the site safety status and Norton rating for each of the search results generated. It ranks the search results based upon the site safety status and Norton rating.
It uses the Norton Safe Search feature to provide you with search suggestions when you type a few letters of the search phrase.
Norton Home Page is supported in the following browsers:

Internet Explorer (version 8.0 or later)

Firefox (latest version and two previous versions)

Chrome (latest version)

Safari (only on Mac computers)
You can use Norton Safe Search even after you turn off the Password Manager feature of Norton.

Set up Norton Home Page

Start Norton.
If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click .

If Norton Home Page for Firefox is grayed out, click .

Restart Mozilla Firefox.
The Norton Safe Search feature is available only for some regions including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
