End-of-Support announcement for Norton apps on iOS 15.x or earlier versions

Over the coming months, devices running iOS 15.x or earlier will no longer receive any new product, service, or security updates for the following Norton apps:

  • Norton 360

  • Norton VPN

iOS 16.x and above provide system updates that allow us to deliver high-quality products, services, and security for our customers in future releases. Therefore, Norton will no longer support any new releases and updates for iOS 15.x or earlier versions.

You can continue using Norton apps on your current version of iOS. However, you will not be able to update your apps to the newer releases that include product and service updates and security fixes.

For the best experience, we recommend that you update your iPhone or iPad operating system to the latest available version.

Find iOS version

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Settings icon to view the settings.

  2. Tap General and then tap About.

  3. Next to Software Version or iOS version, you can find the iOS version that runs on your device.

Update iOS version

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Settings icon to go to settings.

  2. Tap General and then tap Software Update.

  3. If an iOS update is available for your device, tap Install Now or Download and Install, and then follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update.

    For some devices, you may see an option to upgrade your iOS or iPad OS to 16.x or later version.
