Message: "Cannot connect to the Norton server" when accessing the Norton Password Manager vault

This issue can occur when you access Norton Password Manager from the browser extension. To fix this problem, follow the steps:

Sometimes, a backend service outage or server maintenance can stop you from accessing the Norton Password Manager vault. We will work on fixing the issue at the earliest. To identify if there is a service outage, check the Norton Service Status page.

Accessing Norton Password Manager from browser extension

STEP 1

Sign in to Norton Password Manager from the browser extension

  1. Restart your browser.

  2. Click Norton Password Manager extension icon on the top-right corner of the browser and click Sign In.

  3. In the Sign In window, type in your Norton account credentials, and click Sign In.

    If the problem persists, go to step 2.

STEP 2

Restart your computer

  1. Exit all programs.

  2. Restart the computer.
