Send a download link through Email or SMS to install Norton protection on another device

If your subscription entitles you to multiple installations, you can send invites to install your protection on other devices. You can send the download link through an email or a text message, or copy the download link to share it later.
Send an email invite to install your protection

Sign in to your account.

Type an email address that you can access from your other device. By default, your account email address is filled in.

Norton sends a download link to the email address that you entered. The download link is valid only for 14 days. If the download link expires, you have to resend the download link.

Open the email on your other device and follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the protection.
If you are prompted to sign in, enter your account email address and password.
Send a text message with the download link

Sign in to your account.

Select Text.

Select your country from the drop-down list.

Enter the mobile number on which you want to receive the text message.

Norton sends a text message with the download link to the mobile number that you entered.
For some regions, you may not receive the text message with the download link immediately. Receiving the text message is subjected to local telecom regulations of your country. Every country has its local regulations for sending and receiving text messages. Check the website of your country's telecom regulatory body on the limitations.
If you wish to share the download link through other means of communications, on the screen that appears, use the Copy Link option to share it later.
You can also scan the QR code to download the protection app on your mobile. Use any QR code scanner to capture the code.
If you purchased a single user license or do not have any remaining installs, you can upgrade to a plan that allows multiple installs.
