Sometimes, incorrect configuration of a VPN profile may cause issues with connecting to the VPN or connecting to the Internet with VPN enabled. To resolve this issue, you need to delete your VPN profile.
To delete your VPN profile, depending on your operating system, choose one of the following:
Open your phone Settings app.
Tap Connections.
Tap More Connection settings.
Tap VPN.
You should see the list of VPN profiles installed on your device.
Depending on your product, choose one of the following:
If you have Norton 360: Tap the Gear icon next to Norton 360
If you have Norton VPN: Tap the Gear icon next to Norton VPN.
Tap Delete VPN profile.
Restart your phone.
Connect to the VPN to reconfigure the VPN profile.
If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall Norton VPN.
Depending on your product, choose one of the following:
Open your phone Settings app.
Tap VPN.
You should see the list of VPN profiles installed on your device.
Under the Personal VPN section, tap the icon next to Norton VPN: Secure VPN
Tap Delete VPN.
Restart your phone.
Connect to the VPN to reconfigure the VPN profile.
Open your phone Settings app.
Tap VPN.
You should see the list of VPN profiles installed on your device.
Under the Personal VPN section, tap the icon next to Norton 360: Secure VPN
Tap Delete VPN.
Under the Device VPN section, tap the icon next to Norton 360.
Tap Delete VPN.
Restart your phone.
Open Norton 360 and tap Security.
Tap Internet Security and then tap Enable Safe Web.
Tap the left arrow on the top left to return to the Norton 360 main screen.
Tap Privacy and then tap VPN.
Turn ON the VPN to reconfigure the VPN profile.
If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall Norton VPN.
