Message: "Error During Scan" appears when I run Full System Scan or Quick Scan with my Norton product

To resolve this problem, restart the computer and then run a full system scan.


Restart the computer

  1. Exit all the programs.

  2. Restart the computer.


Run Full System Scan

  1. Start your Norton product.

  2. In the main window, click Security, and then click Scans.

  3. In the Scans window, select Full System Scan and click Go.

  4. When the scan is finished, click Finish.
