Message: "Your account is not currently protected by Norton Auto-Scan" when accessing Norton Safe Web on Facebook

Facebook recently made changes that limit what information third-party Facebook apps can access. Due to these changes, the Norton Safe Web for Facebook app no longer has permission to scan posts from your friends on your timeline. However, current Norton customers still receive protection while using Facebook on a PC or Mac protected by Norton: Norton's Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) detects malicious links your friends might post without requiring certain Facebook interfaces.
