Change the language of Norton page or product

This article provides more information on how you can change the display language on the Norton website or the language of Norton.

Norton website appears to be in a different language

  1. On the Norton website, scroll down to the bottom of the page.

  2. In the footer section, click on the current language the page is displayed in.

  3. In the Global Support window, select the language that you want to change the display to.

Norton appears to be in a different language

Norton appears to be in a different language after you install the latest version. To resolve this problem, uninstall and reinstall Norton.

If you have Norton Family installed, uninstall it before you run the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool.

  1. Download the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool.

    Save the file to the Windows desktop. On some browsers, the file is automatically saved to its default location.

  2. To open the Downloads window in your browser, press the Ctrl + J key.

  3. Double-click the NRnR icon.

  4. Read the license agreement, and click Agree.

  5. Click Advanced Options.

  6. Click Remove Only.

  7. Click Remove.

  8. Click Restart Now.

    After the computer restarts, follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall Norton.

Change the language of my Norton account page

To change the language of your Norton account page, you need to change the language settings of your browser. Depending on your browser, select one of the following:

Google Chrome

  1. On the top-right corner, click the Customize and control Google Chrome button.
  2. Click Settings.

  3. In the Settings window, click Advanced.

  4. Scroll down the page and under Languages, click Add languages.

  5. In the Add language window, from the list, select the language that you want to change to, and click Add.

  6. Close all tabs and restart Google Chrome.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. On the top-right corner, click the Open menu button.
  2. Click Options.

  3. In the General page, scroll down to Language.

  4. Next to Choose your preferred language for displaying pages, click Choose.

  5. In the Webpage Language Settings window, click Select a language to add.

  6. From the list, select your preferred language, and click Add.

  7. To move a language to the top of the list, select the language, and then click Move Up.

  8. Restart Mozilla Firefox.

Microsoft Edge

  1. On the top-right corner, click Settings and more button.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. On the left pane, select Languages.

  4. In the Languages window, next to Preferred languages, click Add languages.

  5. In the Add languages window, select the preferred language and click Add.
