Message: "You can't use this version of the application Install Norton Security with this version of Mac OS X."

This error appears when you try to install Norton Device Security on Mac OS X 10.12.x or earlier. Norton Device Security for Mac can be installed only on Mac OS X 10.13.x or later.

Update your Mac OS to the latest available version. For further information on hardware compatibility of Mac models, refer the Apple OS Support website.

Upgrade to the latest version of Mac OS X

1. In the Apple menu bar, click the Apple icon and select Software Update.

   If your computer is not up-to-date, you should install the software updates available for your computer that may appear in the list.

2. In the Software Update window, check the box next to Mac OS X Update, then click Install 1 Item.

   When Software Updates displays "Your software is up to date", you can be sure that all available updates have been installed.
