Error: "One or more programs on your computer are not compatible with this Norton product..."

Norton installation has detected one or more programs on your computer that are not compatible with your Norton product. Note down the incompatible program that is listed in the error message and uninstall it.

Uninstall any non-Norton security product

1. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

2. Type in the following text, and then press Enter.

    

       appwiz.cpl

3. In the list of currently installed programs, select the non-Norton security product, and then click Uninstall or Remove.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the program.

5. When the uninstall completes, restart the computer.

If you cannot uninstall the non-Norton security products from your computer, we recommend that you use the dedicated removal utility or instructions that is designed specifically for each product. For more information, read Remove a non-Norton security product from your computer.
