Messaggio: "Errore di connessione: si è verificato un errore di connessione di Secure VPN. Riprova più tardi."

Avviare Norton.

Nella pagina My Norton, in Sicurezza del dispositivo, fare clic su LiveUpdate.

Quando Norton LiveUpdate ha finito, fare clic su OK.

Eseguire LiveUpdate fino a quando non viene visualizzato un messaggio simile al seguente: "Il prodotto Norton dispone degli aggiornamenti di protezione più recenti".

Chiudere tutti i programmi e riavviare il computer.

Se il problema persiste, andare al Passaggio 2.

Premere contemporaneamente i tasti Windows + R per aprire la finestra di dialogo Esegui.

Digitare il testo seguente, quindi premere Invio.

appwiz.cpl

Nell'elenco dei programmi installati, fare clic su Norton 360, quindi su Rimuovi o Disinstalla.

Fare clic su Rimuovi tutti i dati utente.

Nella finestra di avviso sul periodo di abbonamento, fare clic su Avanti.

Fare clic su Riavvia ora.

La disinstallazione del programma Norton 360 non viene completata finché non si riavvia il computer.

Accedere a Norton.

Se non è stato effettuato l'accesso a Norton, viene richiesto di effettuarlo. Digitare l'indirizzo e-mail e la password dell'account Norton e fare clic su Accedi.

Se non si dispone di un account, fare clic su Crea account e completare la procedura di registrazione.

Nella finestra Inizia, fare clic su Scarica Norton.

Fare clic su Accetta e scarica.

A seconda del browser utilizzato, effettuare una delle seguenti operazioni:

• In Internet Explorer o Microsoft Edge: fare clic su Esegui.

• In Firefox o Safari: nell'angolo superiore destro del browser, fare clic sull'opzione di download per visualizzare i file scaricati, quindi fare doppio clic sul file scaricato.

• In Chrome: nell'angolo inferiore sinistro, fare doppio clic sul file scaricato.

Se viene visualizzata la finestra Controllo account utente, fare clic su Continua.

Seguire le istruzioni su schermo.

Norton è stato installato e attivato.

Run the port test tool.

You need to run the tool from Command prompt. Save the file to Desktop and open Command prompt in elevated mode. Type the following command

C:\User\{User_name}\Desktop\IPSecPortTester.exe

If UDP ports 500 and 4500 are blocked, temporarily disable Norton Firewall and connect to VPN.

Do one of the following:

• If you can connect to Secure VPN with Norton Firewall turned off, add a rule to Norton Firewall to allow access through UDP ports 500 and 4500.

• If you cannot connect to Secure VPN even after turning off Norton Firewall, check the router configuration. If the router is blocking the traffic over UDP ports 500 and 4500, configure the settings to allow UDP ports 500 and 4500.

Start Norton Secure VPN.

From the VPN drop-down menu, select VPN Region.

Select a different region.

Repeat line 2 to 3 to connect to different regions.

Check "Surf Easy certificates" are installed in the Local Machine Certificate store. (Personal, Trusted Root and Intermediate Cert)

Check if "Global Sign Root Cert CA - R3" is present in either Trusted Root cert store OR Third Party Root cert store (this required for Win 7, nice to have for Win 10).

Do one of the following:

• If certificates are present, go to Step 2

• If certificates are not present, click Turn ON. button and wait for 2 mins, and then connect to VPN again

Repeat above step 6 times.

Press the Windows + R key.

In the Run dialogbox, type the following, and click OK :

services.msc

From the list of services, start the following:

• IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules

• Base Filtering Engine

• DNS Client

Turn on Secure VPN.

Go to device manager.

Remove the following entries

• WAN Miniport drivers (IKEv2)

• WAN Miniport drivers (IP)

• WAN Miniport drivers (IPv6)

• Symantec TAP driver

From the menu bar, click Action > Scan for Hardware Changes.

Connect to Norton Secure VPN and check.
