Add a device to your existing Norton protection

If your subscription allows multiple installations, you can install your protection on additional PC, Mac, or mobile devices at no extra cost. Find the number of available seats in your subscription to see if you can extend Norton protection to other devices.

Find the number of seats available with your plan

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. In the top-right corner of the page, hover over My Account and click My Subscriptions.

  3. Find your active Norton plan to see how many devices are included, how many are in use, and how many are still available. 

If you have additional licenses available, you can protect more devices.

Add or install protection on another PC or Mac

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. In the top-right corner of the page, hover over My Account and click My Subscriptions.

  3. Under your Norton plan, click Download or Share.

  4. If you are on the device you want to protect, select Agree & Download. If you are not on that device, click Send Download Link to Email or SMS the link to the new device.

  5. Save the file on your device and double-click the file to install your protection and follow the on-screen steps.

    By default, the file is saved in the Downloads folder on both Mac and PCs.

  6. Sign in when prompted to finish activating your Norton protection.

Add or install your protection on mobile devices (Android or iOS)

If you are on the mobile device you want to protect:

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. In the top-right corner of the page, hover over My Account and tap My Subscriptions.

  3. Under your Norton plan, click Download or Share.

  4. Choose the app to download as part of your plan, select Next.

  5. You will be redirected to the Google Play Store or App Store, tap Install.

  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the app.  

If you are not on the device you want to protect:

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. In the top-right corner of the page, hover over My Account and click My Subscriptions.

  3. Under your Norton plan, click Download or Share.

  4. Choose the app to download as part of your plan, select Next.

  5. Click Send Download Link, to Email or SMS the link to the new device. 

    You can also open the camera app on your new device, point it at the QR code, then tap the link to download the app.

  6. Tap Download Now in the email on your new device.

  7. Choose the app to download as part of your plan, tap Next.

  8. You will be redirected to the Play Store or App Store, tap Install.

  9. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the app.

The number of devices supported for each plan varies from region to region.
