Open your Norton device security product.
If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.
In the main window, Under You Are Protected, check for the date next to Protection Updates.
Depending on your situation, do one of the following:
If the time is less than one day, then wait for 24 hours and then run LiveUpdate again.
If the time is more than one day, go to Step 3 to update your virus definitions using Intelligent Updater.
Go to the Intelligent Updater downloads page.
The Intelligent Updater download page is currently hosted by Symantec Enterprise Security, which is now a division part of Broadcom Inc.
To choose the correct definition set, you need to know the name and version of your Norton product and the version of Windows.
Depending on your version of Windows and Norton, download the appropriate definition set.
