What is Financial Monitoring?

Norton's Financial Monitoring is the feature that allows you to receive alerts notifying you of cash withdrawals, balance transfers, change in recurring charges, and large purchases on financial institution accounts that you connect in your My Norton portal. The alerts are based on thresholds you set in your Alert Preferences. To get the best from Financial Monitoring, ensure that your accounts stay updated and connected by visiting the My Norton portal or mobile app.

How do I dispute a transaction?

If the transaction was not completed by you, contact your financial institution. You will need to check immediately as some financial institutions have a limit on the number of days you have to dispute transactions. If the bank holds you responsible, call us and we will investigate.

Why am I unable to see my transactions?

We may enhance our Financial Monitoring service. While this process is occurring, existing members may experience a few weeks during which historical transaction information may be unavailable. This process may take a few weeks to complete.

We are working hard to minimize the amount of data that is unavailable and any loss of connection to your financial accounts during this enhancement process. We will continue to monitor new transactions and will send alerts based on your alert profile.

You should start to see up to 180-days worth of historical transactions for accounts you had previously connected. Transactions older than 180 days will not be available after the update is complete.
