Install Norton AntiTrack extension on your web browser

The Norton AntiTrack browser extension helps you hide your identity from tracking and fingerprinting attempts made by browsers and websites. To install the Norton AntiTrack browser extension, depending on the operating system, select one of the following:

Before you install the extension, ensure that your browser is up-to-date.

Windows

  1. Open Norton AntiTrack.

  2. On the Norton AntiTrack window, next to the browser in which you want to install the extension, click Manage Browsers.

  3. On the Manage Browsers window, next to Edge, click Add Extension.

  4. Depending on your browser, do one of the following:
    • Google Chrome: On the Chrome Web Store, next to Norton AntiTrack, click Add to Chrome.

    • Microsoft Edge: On the Edge Add-ons page, next to Norton AntiTrack, click Get.

      For Microsoft Edge, the Norton AntiTrack browser extension works only from version 88 or later.

    • Mozilla Firefox: On the Firefox Browser Add-ons page, next to Norton AntiTrack, click Add to Firefox.

  5. In the confirmation screen, click Add or Add Extension to install the Norton AntiTrack extension.

Mac

  1. Launch Safari.

  2. Click Safari on the top-left corner of the screen and click Preferences.

  3. In the General window that appears, click the Extensions tab.

  4. On the left pane, enable the checkbox next to Norton AntiTrack Fingerprinting Blocker.

    If you receive a prompt, click Turn On.

  5. Under Norton AntiTrack Fingerprinting Blocker, click Always Allow on every Website.

  6. On the left pane, enable the checkbox next to Norton AntiTrack Tracker Blocker.

    If you receive a prompt to turn on the extension, click Turn On.

iOS

  1. Launch Norton AntiTrack.

  2. In the Setup AntiTrack for Safari page, tap Set it Up.

    You can install the Norton AntiTrack Extension on Safari from the hamburger icon also.
  3. In the Safari browser window, tap AA in the address bar.

  4. Tap Manage Extensions.

  5. In the Manage Extensions screen that appears, move the slider to enable Norton AntiTrack and then click Done.

  6. In the Safari browser window, tap AA again in the address bar.

  7. Tap Norton AntiTrack.

  8. In the pop-up screen that appears, click Always Allow.

  9. In the next pop-up screen, tap Always Allow on Every Website.

    Norton AntiTrack extension is installed on your browser.
