Spam emails are not filtered to the Norton AntiSpam folder in Microsoft Outlook

To fix this problem, disable and enable the Norton AntiSpam client integration.

These steps are for the current version of the Norton products. If you have an older version or if you do not know your product version, go to Norton Update Center.

STEP 1

Disable AntiSpam Client Integration

  1. Open your Norton device security product.

    If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. In the Settings window, click AntiSpam.

  4. On the Client Integration tab, under Email Clients, click on the slider next to Outlook to turn it Off.

  5. Click Apply, and then click Close.

  6. Exit all programs, and then restart the computer.

STEP 2

Enable AntiSpam Client Integration

  1. Open your Norton device security product.

    If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. In the Settings window, click AntiSpam.

  4. On the Client Integration tab, under Email Clients, click on the slider next to Outlook to turn it On.

  5. Click Apply, and then click Close.

  6. Exit all programs, and then restart the computer.
