Learn more about Scan Exclusions - Edit Item

Norton lets you edit items in the Scan Exclusions window. In the Edit Item window, you can edit the item that you added to the Scan Exclusions window. You can browse to the folder location and select the item. You can also specify whether to include or exclude subfolders in the Scan Exclusions window.

You can assign exclusions to local drives, folders, groups of files, single files, or network drives. You must enter the exact path of the item that you want to add to the exclusion list. If you add a network drive to the exclusion list, make sure that the drive is connected to your computer.

If you move or rename a file or folder that you added in the exclusion list, the exclusion no longer works.
