The Sandbox feature in your Norton product lets you browse the web or run programs in a completely isolated, safe environment. This feature is useful when you want to run suspicious or untrusted programs without having to worry about the risk.
Open your Norton device security product.
On the left pane, click Security.
Navigate to Advanced Security > Computer > Sandbox.
Click Open Application.
Navigate and select the program file (.exe) and click Open.
The program opens in a virtualized window indicated by a colored border and the label Norton Sandbox. To end the virtualized session, click the X icon in the top-right corner of the window.
You can set up specific programs to always open or run in Sandbox.
Open your Norton device security product.
On the left pane, click Security.
In the Security dashboard, navigate to Advanced Security > Computer > Sandbox.
In the Sandbox window, click the Permanent Sandbox tab.
Click Add/Add Application.
In the Add app window, do one of the following:
Click Add next to a listed program to instantly add it.
Click Manually Select App, then navigate and select the program file (.exe) and click Open.
Every time you open the added program, it automatically runs in Sandbox.
