Unlink your Apple ID, Google email, or Microsoft account from your Norton account

Applicable for: Android;Mac;Windows;iOS;ChromeOS

In case you no longer wish to use your Apple ID, Google email, or Microsoft account to sign in to Norton, you can unlink it at any time. After unlinking your Apple ID, Google email, or Microsoft account, you will still be able to log in using your Norton account email address/username and password.

Unlink your Apple ID

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. On the Account Settings page, next to Linked Accounts, click Unlink next to the Apple account that you want to remove.

  3. If the Apple ID (Relay ID) was not shared with Norton, you must reset the username.

  4. If the account does not have a password set, you will be prompted to set up a new password.

  5. In the Sign In page, click Continue.
    The username will be your Norton account username or email address.

  6. Enter your Norton account password and then click Sign In.
    Your Apple ID is now unlinked from your Norton account.

Unlink your Google email address

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. On the Account Settings page, next to Linked Accounts, click Unlink next to the Google account that you want to remove.

  3. In the confirmation screen, click Unlink.

  4. If the account does not have a password, you will be prompted to set up a new password.
    Your Google email address is now unlinked from your Norton account. You will be logged out of your Norton account.

  5. In the Sign In page, click Continue.
    The username will be your Norton account username or email address.

Unlink your Microsoft account

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. On the Account Settings page, next to Linked Accounts, click Unlink next to the Microsoft account that you want to remove.
  3. In the confirmation screen, click Unlink.
  4. If the account does not have a password, you will be prompted to set up a new password.
    Your Microsoft account is now unlinked from your Norton account. You will be logged out of your Norton account.
  5. In the Sign In page, click Continue.
    The username will be your Norton account username or email address.
