Stay secure when you switch out of S mode in Windows
When you switch out of the S mode, you can choose to maximize your protection by selecting the appropriate Norton subscription.

Norton Security On-the-Go is no longer available for download in the Microsoft Store. Existing customers will continue to receive updates through Microsoft Store.
If you wish to maximize your protection, click Install in the My Norton window.
Norton installs the latest Norton security product silently in the background.
Switching out of S mode is a one-way transition. You cannot go back to Windows 11/10 in S mode.
S mode is only supported on the Home edition of Windows 11.
We recommend that you choose Install and take advantage of the maximized protection. Installing the latest version of Norton is the best way to keep your Windows 11/10 computer protected against malicious threats and viruses.
