Download and install Norton 360 app on your mobile device

You can download and install the Norton 360 app to protect your mobile device and the information it stores against digital threats.

You can directly download and install Norton 360 app on your mobile device, or you can send yourself from within your account an email or a text message or copy the link with download instructions and access it on your mobile device. You can also scan the QR code to download the Norton 360 app on your mobile. Use any QR code scanner to capture the code.

To install Norton 360 app on your Android device, you need to have Android 10.x or later. To install Norton 360 app on your iOS device, you need to have iOS 16.x or later.

I am on my Android device and want to install Norton 360 app

If you see any problems with installing Norton 360 app on your mobile device, make sure that your device has the latest version of Google Play Store app, and all the latest system updates installed.

  1. On your Android device, launch the Google Play Store app, and search for Norton 360 app.

  2. On the Norton 360 app screen, tap Install.

  3. When the installation finishes, tap Open.

  4. Read and accept the License and Services Agreement, acknowledge our Global Privacy Statement, and then tap Sign in.

  5. Type your Norton account email address and password, and then tap Sign In.

  6. To ensure complete protection, you need to provide permissions for your device settings to continue using App Security, Internet Security, and Wi-Fi Security features. In the Norton 360 app main screen, at the top-right corner, tap the settings icon.

  7. In the Permission Setup screen, follow the on-screen instructions to set up and allow the following settings.

    The instructions may vary depending on your device, device manufacturer, and operating system.

    • Allow Norton 360 to run in the background.

    • Turn on Draw over other apps.

    • Turn on Norton 360 Service.

    • Allow Norton 360 to send and view SMS messages.

    • Allow Norton 360 to access your device location.

    • Turn on Location Services.

I am on my iPhone or iPad and want to install Norton 360 app

  1. On your iOS device, launch the Apple App Store app, and search for Norton 360 app.

  2. On the Norton 360 app screen, tap GET or download icon .

  3. When the installation finishes, tap Open.

  4. Read and accept the License and Services Agreement, acknowledge our Global Privacy Statement, and then tap Redeem a subscription.

  5. Do one of the following:

    • Tap Sign in with Norton account and type your Norton account email address and password, and then tap Sign In.

    • If you have an existing active Norton subscription purchased Apple App Store, then tap Restore from App Store.

I am on a computer and want to send instructions to install Norton 360 app on my mobile device

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. If you are not signed in to your account already, you are prompted to sign in. Type in your email address and password, and click Sign In. If you do not have a Norton account, click Create an account, and complete the sign-up process.

  3. In the Get Started window, click Download Norton, and then click Send Download Link.

  4. Depending on your selection, do one of the following:

    • If you want to send an email invite - Select the Email option, type an email address you can access on your mobile device, and click Send. On the mobile device where you want to install the protection, find and open the email that you received from Norton, and tap Download Now.
    • If you want to send a text message to your mobile device with the download link - Select the Text option, select your country from the drop-down list, and then enter the mobile number of the device on which you want to receive the text message with the download link. Click Send.

      In some countries, you may not receive the text message with the download link immediately. Receiving the text message is subject to the local telecom regulations of your country. Every country has its local regulations for sending and receiving text messages. Check the website of your country's telecom regulatory body for the limitations.

    • If you want to copy the download link and share it later to your mobile device - If you wish to share the download link through other means of communications, use the Copy Link option to copy the download link and share it later. If you are prompted to sign in when you click the download link, enter your account email address and password.

  5. In the Get Started screen, tap Norton 360, and then tap Next.

  6. If you have an Android device, you are redirected to the Norton 360 app on the Google Play Store. If you have an iOS device, tap Download on the App Store to redirect to the Norton 360 app on the Apple App Store.

  7. Depending on your device, do the following:

    • If you have an Android device, tap Install to start the installation.

    • If you have an iOS device, tap Get, tap Install, and then tap Done.

  8. When the installation finishes, tap Open.

  9. Read and accept the License and Services Agreement, acknowledge our Global Privacy Statement, and then tap Continue.

Download and install Norton 360 app purchased from a service provider

  1. On your mobile device, open the email that you received from your service provider, and then tap the download link.

    In case you have received an SMS from your service provider, tap the URL link in the SMS.

  2. If prompted, type your Norton account email address and password, and then tap Sign In.

  3. Tap Get it on Google Play or Download on the App Store. You are redirected to the Norton 360 app on your Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

  4. Do the following:

    • On your Android device, tap Install.

    • On your iOS device, tap Get, and then tap Install.

  5. When the installation finishes, tap Open to start the Norton 360 app.

  6. Depending on your device, do the following:

    • If you have an Android device: Read the License and Services Agreement, acknowledge our Global Privacy Statement, and then tap Sign In > Sign In with your service provider. Follow the on-screen instructions.

    • If you have an iOS device: Read the License and Services Agreement, acknowledge our Global Privacy Statement, and then tap Redeem a subscription > Sign in with your service provider. Enter the name of your service provider and tap Next. Tap Proceed to confirm your service provider. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Download and install Norton 360 app manually using Google Play Store or Apple App Store purchased from a service provider

I have an Android device

  1. On your Android device, launch the Google Play Store app, and search for Norton 360 app.

  2. On the Norton 360 app screen, tap Install.

  3. When the installation finishes, tap Open.

  4. Read the License and Services Agreement, acknowledge our Global Privacy Statement, and then tap Redeem a subscription.

  5. Tap Enter a partner code.

  6. Enter a valid partner code that you received from your service provider, tap Next.

  7. Tap Proceed to confirm your service provider.

  8. Enter your Norton account credentials to complete the installation.

I have an iOS device

  1. On your iOS device, launch the Apple App Store app, and search for Norton 360 app.

  2. On the Norton 360 app screen, tap GET or download icon .

  3. When the installation finishes, tap Open.

  4. Read the License and Services Agreement, acknowledge our Global Privacy Statement, and then tap Redeem a subscription.

  5. Tap Sign in with your service provider.

  6. Enter the name of your service provider and tap Next.

  7. Tap Proceed to confirm your service provider.

  8. Depending on your service provider, you may need to enter your Norton or service provider account credentials to complete the installation.
