Configure Norton Utilities Premium settings

The settings window in Norton Utilities Premium lets you configure the various options available within Norton Utilities Premium.

Configure Norton Utilities Premium General settings

  1. Open Norton Utilities Premium.

  2. Click the Settings icon present on the top-right corner of the screen.

  3. In the Settings window, under General Settings, click the right-arrow at the far-right corner of the screen and do one of the following:

    • Dashboard: Controls the display of alerts that are configured to not be shown when Norton Utilities Premium is performing a task

    • Repair Options: Control the display of repair confirmation alerts

      To turn off the alerts, disable the Prompt me before performing repairs and optimizations check box.

      The Display a summary on the Dashboard option summarizes the completed repairs and optimizations on the Dashboard.

    • Update connection settings: Configure proxy server settings for your computer. You can also configure specific proxy server settings as per your requirement.

      Click Use specific proxy server settings and follow the on-screen instructions to configure specific proxy server settings
