Notify parents about child's location using Norton Family
Applicable for: Android;iOS
The child can check in to a location regardless of whether the location is a saved location to notify the parents that they have reached safely.
Location Supervision feature is not available in some countries. For more information, read Norton Family product and feature availability.
To check in to a location, select one of the following:
Android
You need to allow the location permission to check in to a location.

From the Home screen, launch Norton Family app in Child Mode.

In the top-left corner, tap the child avatar, and then tap Check in.
If you receive a Permission Required window, tap OK and then tap Allow.

In the Check In window, tap Continue.

Tap Check In.
You see a message "Check in successful".
You need to wait for 5 minutes before the next check-in.
iOS
You need to allow the location permission to check in to a location.

From the Home screen, launch Norton Family app.

In the top-right corner, tap the hamburger menu, and then tap Check In.
If you receive a Permission Required alert, tap Turn On.

In the Check In window, tap Check In.

Tap Check In.
You see a message "Check in successful".
You need to wait for 5 minutes before the next check-in.
