Applicable for: Windows
Your Norton product has detected a program or process attempting to access your network. You can allow, block, or manually create a program rule for the security risk. If no action is taken, your Norton product applies the recommended action.
You can create custom program rules for specific programs using Program Control. In Program Control, you create a custom rule to control how a specific program accesses the Internet.
Custom rules that are added to Program Control override Automatic Program Control rules set by your Norton product. We recommend that you retain the Automatic Control Rules.
Firewall also notifies you when an untrusted low risk application without a valid digital certificate is launched. If you trust the application and don't want to receive such alerts in the future, click Do not notify me again.
