Message: "A script in the Norton extension is causing Firefox to slow down"

To resolve this problem, update Mozilla Firefox to the latest version.

STEP 1

Update Mozilla Firefox

  1. Start Mozilla Firefox.

  2. On the top-right corner, click the Open menu button.

  3. Click Help, and then click About Firefox.

    Firefox checks for updates and downloads them automatically.

  4. Click Restart to update Firefox.

STEP 2

Update Norton extensions

  1. Start Mozilla Firefox.

  2. On the top-right corner, click the Open menu button.

  3. Click Add-ons.

  4. In the Add-ons window, click Extensions in the left pane.

  5. On the top of the page, click on the Gear icon, and then click Check for Updates.
