This issue occurs if you have enabled the Mail Privacy Protection settings on your Mac. To resolve this issue, disable the Mail Privacy Protection settings and reopen your Mail application.
On your Mac, click the Finder icon in the dock, and then click Applications in the left pane under the Favorites section.
Find and launch the Mail application.
At the top-left corner of your Mac, click Mail, and then click Settings or Preferences
In the Privacy window, ensure you uncheck and disable Protect Mail Activity, Hide IP Address, and Block All Remote Content options.
Close the Privacy settings window and relaunch the Mail application.
