Scan your wireless network with the Norton UWP app on Windows

You can run a manual scan to confirm if your network is secure. Norton scans your network for potential network attacks since these are attack vectors and reports the state of the network. Norton protects you from man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks.

If your scan results end up appearing in red or orange, you can enable Secure VPN to let Norton create a private, encrypted data tunnel. Secure VPN prevents cybercriminals from hacking into your wireless connection and intercepting the data you are sending and receiving.

Scan your wireless network

  1. Open your Norton device security product.

  2. In the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Scan.

Norton scans your network for potential threats.

  3. If the scan results appear in red or orange, click Use Secure VPN.

In the Secure VPN window, you can view the protection status of your network, device, and data.
