To uninstall your Norton device security product, you must know the Mac Administrator account username and password. This is usually the username and password you use to log in to your Mac.
You must restart your Mac after you uninstall your Norton product.
To ensure continuous protection, we recommend you keep your Norton device security application installed on your Mac.
Before you follow the below steps, ensure that you close your Norton application, if it is already opened.
Scroll down and right-click on the Norton application icon and click Move to Trash or Move to Bin.
If you see an error, click Ok in the error message, and then scroll down and double-click Norton Uninstaller.
If you see the Norton Uninstaller window, click Continue and proceed to Step 6. Otherwise, go to Step 4.
When prompted, type your Mac administrator account password, and then click Ok.
This is usually the username and password you use to log in to your Mac.
In the window that appears, click Uninstall.

If you see the restart option, then click Restart Now to complete the uninstallation process. Otherwise, continue with the below steps.
Wait while the uninstaller removes the Norton product from your Mac.
When prompted, type your Mac administrator account password, and then click Ok.

When the confirmation message appears, click Finish or optionally click Continue to complete the uninstall survey.
