Norton and macOS Golden Gate (27.x)

As of Sept 15, 2026, the new macOS Golden Gate (27.x) is now available. All the Mac users with compatible hardware can upgrade the macOS to macOS Golden Gate (27.x) for free.

Before you upgrade to macOS Golden Gate (27.x), make sure to run LiveUpdate and install all the available updates for your Norton product.

Compatibility of Norton device security products with macOS Golden Gate

Our latest Norton Device Security products are compatible with Mac computers with Apple Silicon.

The following Norton products are compatible with macOS Golden Gate (27.x):

• Norton 360 (26.8.x or later)
