Configure VPN settings in Norton 360 app on your mobile device
Applicable for: Android;iOS
You can configure VPN settings on your device that help you use a wireless network connection in a more secure way.
This feature is available only for users subscribed to Norton 360 for Mobile or Norton 360 plans that include VPN. This feature is not available in all countries.
To configure the VPN settings, you need to first set up the VPN feature using your Norton 360 app. For more information, read Set up VPN in Norton 360 app to help secure your browsing on Wi-Fi connections on your mobile device
To configure the VPN settings, choose one of the following
Android
Configure VPN settings

From the home screen, launch the Norton 360 app.
- At the bottom of the main screen, tap Menu, and then tap VPN.

At the top-right corner, tap the settings icon

In the VPN screen, you can configure the following settings:
- Kill Switch - You can enable this option to block your internet connection whenever VPN is disconnected.

Auto Connect - We recommend you enable the Auto Connect mode that helps you turn on the VPN option automatically for the compromised networks.
Tap the Auto Connect option to configure the Auto Connect settings.

Access LocalDevices with VPN - Allow access to local devices like printers and shared drives on private networks.

Ad Tracker Blocking - You can enable this option to block targeted advertisements. However, a small number of websites require Ad Tracker Blocking to be disabled to work properly.

Split Tunneling – You can enable this option to exclude some of your apps from the VPN channel while other apps access the Internet directly.

VPN Protocol Settings - VPN protocols are a set of rules that inform how data is going to be transmitted from your computer. To choose which protocol you are going to use, tap the VPN Protocol Settings option and then enable the required option.
iOS
Configure VPN settings

From the home screen, launch the Norton 360 app.

At the bottom of the main screen, tap Menu, then tap Secure VPN.

You can configure the following options:

Connect or Disconnect VPN - Depending on the on-screen recommendation for your wireless network, you can tap Connect or Disconnect.

Fastest Location - We mask your personal information including your location so that you can access the Internet and your favorite application more securely. Tap the VPN Region option and then choose the geographic region from the list.

At the top-right corner, tap the settings icon.

In the Privacy screen, you can configure the following settings:

Automatically turn on VPN - We recommend you enable the Auto-Connect VPN mode that helps you turn on the VPN option automatically for the compromised networks.

Ad Tracker Blocking - You can enable this option to block targeted advertisements. However, a small number of websites require Ad Tracker Blocking to be disabled to work properly.
