Change your compromised vault password in Norton Password Manager app

The Norton Password Manager app provides additional alerts when the vault password is not unique and compromised. The alerts appear in the following scenarios:

• For new users, when you create a new vault, you receive the Differs from other accounts alert in the Create your vault password screen

• For existing users, if the vault password you create matches with the other passwords stored in vault, you receive the Your vault password is not unique alert

• If the vault password has a security risk, you receive the Your vault password is compromised alert.

When you receive these alerts, we recommend you to change your vault password using the Change Vault Password Now option to increase the security of your vault.
