Message: "You have fully used your online storage. Please add more storage"

These steps are for the current version of Norton. If you have an older version or if you do not know your product version, go to Norton Update Center.

Norton monitors your backup storage space and notifies you when you need more space. To increase your storage space, delete a backup set that is no longer needed.

Delete a backup set

  1. Start your Norton product.

    If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

  2. Double-click Backup, and then click Backup Sets.

  3. From the Backup Set drop-down list, select the backup set that you want to delete.

  4. Next to Backup Set, click Delete.

  5. In the Delete Backup Set window, select Delete backup set option.

  6. In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.

If you are notified that you do not have more online storage space, you can purchase additional storage space by following these steps.

Option to buy more storage is not available in all Norton plans. For some plans, you need to upgrade to the next higher plan to get more storage.

Buy more storage space

The option to buy more storage is not available in APJ regions.

  1. Start your Norton product.

    If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

  2. Double-click Backup, and then click More Storage.

    You are redirected to the Norton Online Store for purchase of additional storage.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
