Download and install EE Cyber Security Powered by Norton™ - UK

Click below for detailed steps to install EE Cyber Security on your devices.

Windows

  1. Sign in to https://ee.co.uk/ EE credentials.
  2. Click Addons & Extras and select EE Cyber Security.
  3. Once added to the account, click Manage, which will take you to the Norton portal.
  4. Click Download, then click Agree & Download.
    • Run the exe file and launch the installer. Once downloaded, click Install.
    • After it is installed, you will see a message that your device is protected, prompting you to set up the Features.
  5. In the Feature Setup window, you can click Install Now to enable Browsing Protection. 

Mac

  1. Sign in to https://ee.co.uk/ EE credentials.
  2. Click Addons & Extras and select EE Cyber Security.
  3. Click Manage to be redirected to the Norton portal.
  4. In the Norton portal, click Download, then click Agree & Download
    • Once the Setup.zip file is downloaded, click on it to open the file
    • You will be taken to the Downloads folder to run the application. Click Install.
  5. The helper tool will then prompt you to authenticate the action by entering your Mac’s user account password.
    • Type your password and click on Install Helper
    • After it is installed, you will see an Installation Successful message prompting you to restart the computer. Click Restart.
    • Once the computer is back on, you will receive a prompt to Allow System Extensions. Click Open Preferences
  6. You will see an alert that a System Extension is Blocked. Click Open Security Preferences.
  7. The Security & Privacy window will launch. Click the lock at the bottom left corner and authenticate using the Mac password.
  8. Click the Allow button.
  9. Go back to the app and click Continue 
  10. Under Allow Network Monitoring, click Continue to see a prompt that requests permission to allow EE Cyber Security to Filter Network Content. Click Allow
  11. You will be prompted to sign in with your EE Credentials.
    • Once done, you will see the Activation is successful message and the EE Cyber Security Dashboard with Device Security and Identity Protection tabs.

Android

  1. Sign in to https://ee.co.uk/ EE credentials.
  2. Tap on Addons & Extras and select EE Cyber Security.
  3. Once added to the account, tap Manage, which will take you to the Norton portal.
  4. Tap on Download, then click Agree & Download.
  5. You are taken to the Google Play Store to install EE Cyber Security. Tap Install.
  6. Once installed, sign in using your EE credentials.
  7. In the Permission Setup screen, tap Get started, and then follow the on-screen instructions to set up.
    • The instructions may vary depending on your device, device manufacturer, and operating system.
      1. Turn on EE Cyber Security Service.
      2. Allow EE Cyber Security to run in the background.
      3. Turn on Draw over other apps.
      4. Allow EE Cyber Security to access your device location.
      5. Turn on location settings.

iOS

  1. Sign in to https://ee.co.uk/ EE credentials.
  2. Tap Addons & Extras and select EE Cyber Security.
  3. Tap Manage, which will take you to the Norton portal.
  4. Tap Download, then click Agree & Download.
    • You will be taken to the App Store to install EE Cyber Security. 
  5. On the EE Cyber Security app screen, tap GET or the download icon.
  6. Once installed, sign in using your EE credentials
  7. Follow on-screen instructions to set up Internet Security, SMS Security, and Secure Calendar.
