Norton Services Status help

You can see the current status of Norton services on https://status.norton.com. The information on the dashboard displays the common service status. The status of each service displayed on the dashboard represents the overall status of the service and may not affect your product at all times.

LiveUpdate is not monitored on the Norton Service Status Dashboard. Occasionally a LiveUpdate issue can affect customers for a limited time. If you are experiencing an issue with LiveUpdate, please try to run LiveUpdate again in a 2-3 hours. The information below describes possible symptoms if the service is experiencing problems.

Activation Services

  • You may experience problems activating your Norton subscription.

Download Services

  • You may be unable to download, install, or manage your Norton subscription when the Download Service is down.

Login and Account Creation Services

  • You may be unable to create or sign in to your Norton account.

My Norton

  • You may experience errors or problems using My Norton to download or manage your subscription.

Norton Storage Service

  • You may not be able to backup data to the cloud storage.

Norton Family

  • You may experience problems using the Norton Family website or app features.

Norton Password Manager

  • You may be unable to sign in to your Norton Password Manager vault.

Norton Mobile Security

  • You may experience problems activating or updating Norton Mobile Security.

Norton Safe Web

  • Site safety ratings may not be available.

Norton Safe Search

  • You may not be able to use all the Norton Safe Search website or toolbar features.

Norton Support

  • You may be unable to access the Norton customer support site.

Norton Update Center

  • You maybe unable to update your Norton software when the Norton Update Center is down.

Norton.com

  • You may be unable to access the Norton software landing page.
