Update your personal information in your Norton account

Your Norton account is where you can manage all your personal details, billing information, and email preferences in your account. If you forgot your password or have issues receiving the password reset email, read Recover your Norton account.

For Norton Small Business plans, instructions in this article are applicable only for the business account owner.

Update your email address, password, or other personal information

If you created your account with an email address that you currently cannot access or use to sign in to your account, contact Member Services & Support and we will be happy to help.

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. On the Account Settings tab, click the Edit icon  next to any information that you want to update.
  3. You also have the option to select your Email preferences
    • Under Promotions, select Special offers.
    • Under Product Information, select Required messages, Product features and reminders, and Newsletters.
  4. Once you are done, save your updates.

Update or add your card details

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. On the Billing Information tab, if you want to update an existing payment method, click the Edit icon  and type in any information that you want to update, and click Save.
    NOTE: You need to have a product linked to this Norton account for the Billing Information tab to be available. If you do not see the Billing Information tab, check if the product is linked with a different Norton account.
  3. To add your billing information, choose your country/region and the payment method, and then complete saving the billing information.

For Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan:

If your order number starts with APXXXXXXXX or NPXXXXXXXX or if you have Norton 360 Standard Plus, follow the steps above to change your account details.

If your order number starts with SY or NS, visit the below link to change your account details. You will need your "original order number" and email address or phone number that was used when you ordered.
*Your original order number is in the email that we sent at the point of the first purchase completion.

If you have issues updating or adding your billing information, contact Member Services & Support.

If you want to delete your billing information, you must disable the automatically renewing subscription before you delete the card. Read, Cancel your automatically renewing subscription.
