Change vault password for Norton Password Manager

You can change the Norton Password Manager vault password only through the browser extension or from your Norton product. You cannot change the vault password from your mobile device.

Change Norton Password Manager vault password from browser extension

  1. Open your browser.

  2. Click Norton Password Manager on the top-right corner of the browser.

  3. In the pop-up that appears, click Open vault.

  4. In the Unlock your vault window, type your vault password and click Open vault.

  5. In the Norton Password Manager window, click and then click Settings.

  6. In the Password Manager window, under Vault Access, click Change vault Password.

  7. In the Change vault Password page, follow the on-screen instructions to change the password and click Save.

  1. Start Norton.

    If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

  2. In the Norton main window, double-click Internet Security, and then click Password Manager.

  3. In the Norton Password Manager window, click the Settings icon available at the bottom of the window.

  4. Click the Security tab.

  5. In the Vault Password row, click Change vault password.

  6. In the Change vault password window, type the current password and the new password, and confirm the new password.

  7. Click OK.

  8. In the confirmation dialog box, click OK.
