Report a suspected incorrect detection to Norton

This document instructs on how to report a false positive or a false negative to Norton through the online submission form.

• Tell us about the situation where you believe that a Norton product is incorrectly detecting a file or website. This is also called a False Positive.

  Use the submission form (Incorrectly detected by Norton tab) to tell us about a situation where you believe that Norton is incorrectly detecting a file.

• Upload a suspected infected file, an email with a suspected attachment, or a suspected website which has not been detected by a Norton product. This is also called a False Negative.

  Use the submission form (Not detected by Norton tab) to upload a suspected infected file which has not been detected by Norton.
