Get started with Norton Password Manager
Norton Password Manager helps you access, manage, and secure your passwords and personal information that you rely on for your online activities. Norton Password Manager keeps your passwords synchronized across different browsers and mobile devices.
Mobile Unlock: The Mobile Unlock feature lets you unlock your Password Manager vault using a desktop browser by approving a notification on your mobile device instead of manually entering your vault password.
Safety Dashboard: The Safety Dashboard feature displays the health of the logins and passwords that are stored in the cloud vault. It lets you increase the strength of your passwords to improve your safety score and reduce the risks associated with online safety.
Password Generator: You can quickly generate strong passwords automatically with different combination of numbers and characters. On supported websites, the password generator can be launched while changing your password.
Autochange Password: Autochange Password works by directly logging into the websites and generating a strong password on your behalf. The newly generated passwords are saved in your Norton Password Manager vault, for which only you have access to.
Set up Norton Password ManagerOn the top-right corner of the browser, click the Norton Password Manager button and sign in to get started. If you cannot find the Password Manager icon, you can download the extension.
After you sign in with your Norton account, you need to set up an online vault. Your online vault is where you store your passwords and other personal information and secure it with a master password. After you set up the vault, Norton Password Manager prompts you from time to time to save, update, or fill in information from your vault.
Import logins from an existing password manager
Norton Password Manager vault extension can import saved logins from Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Dashlane, 1Password, and LastPass. For more information read, Import logins to Norton Password Manager vault.
Install Norton Password Manager on your other devices
You can install Norton Password Manager on your mobile devices to easily access the logins when you browse using your mobile devices. For detailed instructions, read Install Norton Password Manager on your mobile device.
Sign in to Norton Password Manager
When you sign in to Norton Password Manager, you need to first sign in to Norton account, and then to your vault. After you sign in to your account successfully, you get the prompt to sign in to your vault.
Your vault password is critical to protect your vault data. Norton Password Manager does not store your vault password in any file or website or even on Norton servers.
Ensure that you don't forget your vault password
It is important that you do not lose your vault password. You can reset your vault password only if you have configured the Norton Password Manager app to use biometric authentication on your mobile device.
