Kroll/Kroll Factual Data (FDC) is a third-party reporting agency similar to the three-major credit bureaus. Typically, companies such as mortgage companies, financial institutions and dealerships will contact third-party reporting agencies to obtain a three-bureau credit score. (In some cases, third-party reporting agencies also provide services for background/tenant screening and employment verification.)
